The programs, which started on Thursday, include pilgrimage trips to holy sites in different parts of Iraq, al-Kafeel reported.
Sheikh Saad al-Shimri, director of the Astan’s Africa Studies Center, said the seminary students have so far visited the holy mausoleums of Imam Hadi (AS) and Imam Hassan Askari (AS) in Samarra and Imam Musa Kadhim (AS) and Imam Jawad (AS) in Kadhimiya.
He said they recited supplications and met with the officials of the holy shrines’ Astans during the visits.
Al-Shimri added that the seminary students have welcomed the programs that have provided them with an opportunity to visit the holy shrines in different cities of Iraq.
